Every year, without fail, my sparkly spidey senses start tingling, usually around the middle of November.
I can’t walk into a shop without being drawn like a moth to light to anything that’s made of velvet, covered in glitter or embellished in sequins.
I own a pair of metallic silver trousers that make me look the tin man and these are wheeled out every year for approximately six weeks, until they’re locked away again on New Year’s Day.
