Following in the footsteps of Michael Kors, Gucci, and Net-a-Porter, Versace will no longer use real fur in the label’s designs.
That’s according to Donatella Versace herself, who said in an interview with 1843 Magazine: ‘Fur? I am out of that. I don’t want to kill animals to make fashion. It doesn’t feel right.’
This is quite the about turn for the brand, which at the time the interview was conducted was advertising fur-embellished coats.
