Chris Holmes had his epiphany as he scrolled through photos from his latest DJ set (he’s the opening act for Paul McCartney on tour. Yes, really).
He wears reflective clothing during his sets and he noticed all the pics were ruined because the flash had bounced off the clothes and washed out the rest of the image.
So, he was inspired to design the Anti-Paparazzi collection for think tank Betabrand. Consisting of a blazer, hooded jacket and infinity scarf (that’s a snood to us Brits), the items use reflective threads to scupper those pesky paps’ shots.
Perfect for all those camera-shy celebs out there (um…). Or just someone who really hates having their picture taken.
