The sun finally shone in London for this year’s best of British Bafta red carpet (although it was still pretty nippy out for those in evening dresses).
With homegrown stars including Benedict Cumberbatch, Felicity Jones, Keira Knightley, Rosamund Pike and Eddie Redmayne, all up for big awards, it promised to be a big night for gongs – and gowns.
Much more understated than the Oscars, the question was, did anyone manage to outshine ever-dapper golden boy Eddie? And could anyone top Brangelina’s matching tuxes from last year? (Note, Zoe Ball gave it a good go).
