When I was little, I spent hours building Star Wars dens with my brother and playing football/destroying plants in the back garden. I also liked Barbies and pink tutus (still do, tbh).
That eclectic mix of interests is something mums Rebecca Melsky and Eva St Clair, the women behind new kids’ clothing label Princess Awesome, totally get.
Because they have daughters who love pink, glitter and flowers, but also adore dinosaurs, robots and trucks. Yet, when they looked for little girls’ clothes that indulged their love of pink dinosaurs, they couldn’t find any.
So, they made their own.
