A teenage athlete is hoping to change people’s perceptions of disability by starring in Target Australia’s new activewear campaign.
Robyn Lambird, 19, from Perth, was born with cerebral palsy and, although she can walk on her own, she uses a forearm crutch or walking stick to help with mobility sometimes. She also uses a wheelchair when her symptoms become too painful or tiring.
She’s a competitive wheelchair racer and hopes to take part in her first World Championship in London next year. She’s also a disability advocate, blogger and fashion-lover.
