Karl Lagerfeld isn’t one for half measures. Last season, he gave us the designer version of supermarket sweep with his custom-made Chanel supermarche and let the fashion eds go wild in the aisles for the Chanel branded goodies at the end of the show.
But that was nothing compared to the show he put on at Paris Fashion Week today. This time, he created an entire Parisian district and then staged a feminist march on its streets.
Yep. Boulevard Chanel (the streets surprisingly not paved with gold) was brought to life inside the Grand Palais in painstaking detail – right down to the puddles and Zebra crossings.
