Coachella and Urban Outfitters might seem like natural bedfellows (both being expensive and faux-hippy), but the love-in as come to an abrupt end.
The retailer is now being sued for allegedly trying to rip off the event’s image by using a number of ‘famous’ Coachella trademarks to sell their products.

The contentious products are all under the Free People label (an affiliate of Urban), with names like ‘Coachella Boot’, ‘Coachella Mini Dress’ and ‘Coachella Pocket Tank’.
And the Californian festival giants say that this is proof that Urban is ‘trading on the goodwill and fame’ of Coachella.
