Angelina Jolie likes to stick to a pretty safe colour palette, whether she’s ferrying the kids about or walking the red carpet. Most of the time, she likes black. Sometimes, she wears white.
But, last night, she broke with tradition in a silver fishtail gown (albeit with black lace detail – small steps). Yes, the clouds parted, the angels sang and out stepped Ange in patterned Gucci.
The bespoke dress was a little more daring than her standard sartorial choices but it stole the show as the newlywed attended the world premiere of Unbroken, the WWII film she directed starring Skins actor Jack O’Connell, in Sydney.
